Mama Rice Ltd (MRL) was established to drive innovation and promote demonstration of viable approaches that work for women in particular to scale-up successes in smallholder farming, with a strong focus on the rice value chain.
The enterprise works with over 10,000 women farmers organised into 435 Rural Producer Organisations (RPOs) spread over Amolatar District, and a further 1200 farmers across the wider Lango sub-region.

Enterprise provides rice inputs mechanization training value addition and access to the market.
