Agrisol Africa Limited is an Agri-SME that deals in agri-inputs that ranges from seeds and fertilizers (both organic and inorganic) to pesticides and simpler irrigation equipment. The Agri SME promotes agro-ecological principles, rural agricultural entrepreneurship, capacity building, and farmers training in Lira and Dokolo districts.

Agrisol Africa Limited offers one of the broadest services and products combining comprehensive solutions and services for agriculture and industries in Africa. Their products and services include farm tools, seeds, fertilizers and crop protection products for agriculture as well as chemicals.
The enterprise also manages several innovative sustainable and quality products, services and solutions tailored to a typical African small-holder farmer. Agrisol Africa Ltd. intends to invest in numerous value chains that offer farmers affordable and sustainable solutions using the best approaches geared towards addressing climate change.

Since inception, Agrisol Africa Limited has impacted over 200 farmer groups and a chain of village farmers’ agents who educate farmers on agro-ecological principles and sustainable farming as well as buying inputs from the enterprise. This has boosted their income and subsequently improved their standards of living.

The enterprise joined the Women in Agriculture Impact Investment (WAII) Facility in 2022 when the call for applications was rolled out. It is among the 16 Agri-SMEs that were selected for the first investment advisory cycle. Finding XY established the Women in Agriculture Impact Investment (WAII) Facility to accelerate early growth stage of SMEs investment using a blend of instruments and a gender lens approach through bridge financing cover and loan-discount approach using Covid relief investment support.
