Registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in 2012, Safe Plan Uganda is committed to the enhancement of holistic care, assisting rural and urban dwellers particularly rural women and youths, to achieve sustainable development. A socio-economically viable society is one visualized by Safe Plan Uganda as a way to periodically and sustainably progress.

Women and youths are trained in carpentry, tailoring, liquid and bar soap, rearing, and beekeeping. These have not only raised their standard of living but also inspired entrepreneurship among the youth and women. To sustain the organization, Safe Plan Uganda manufactures energy-saving cookstoves. The cookstoves use briquettes as fuel which produce fewer carbon emissions making them environmentally friendly.
