DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Information Technology (IT) Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about technology, eager to learn, and excited about supporting the digital infrastructure of a mission-driven organization. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, supporting internal teams, and contributing to the development of innovative tech solutions that enhance our work.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
As an IT Intern, you will:
• Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the organization’s IT systems, including computers, servers, and software applications.
• Support the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system efficiency.
• Help manage and optimize Finding XY’s websites and other digital platforms.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining IT equipment for events, workshops, and webinars.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement tech solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Support the creation and maintenance of databases to store and organize organizational data.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative ideas to enhance Finding XY’s digital capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND QUALITIES
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow in the IT field.
• Is proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
• Has basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Possesses strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Is familiar with or willing to learn tools like Microsoft Office Suite, website management platforms, and basic programming languages
• Is a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong desire to grow in the IT sector.
