Did you know that you can harness sugar from honey? Sorghum is considered a low-value crop – however, sorghum possesses enormous genetic diversity and can produce sugar, starch, cellulose, all in a single species, and potentially all at the same time in a single plant.

BAIL, as an agro-tech company, discovered the trick and is producing sorghum byproducts like sorghum syrup which is a novel alternative to sugar, gluten-free, and nutritionally rich sweetener. BAIL partners with small-scale sorghum farmers and is gradually scaling their societal and environmental impacts.
