Founded in 2008, AgriNet Uganda Limited is a for profit limited liability company operating in agricultural value chains, providing market access services including input and output market intelligence, supply chain management, agro-processing and bespoke agribusiness development services.

AgriNet Uganda Limited processes high quality branded maize flour, rice, animal feeds, targeting primarily high end super markets and urban consumers and trades in the buying and selling of white sorghum, maize, and soya beans, Cassava and amaranths, targeting large scale local and regional buyers such as the breweries on top of providing consultancy services specifically in farmer organizational development, supply chain management.

The company operates a network of 300 locally based agents providing a range of market access services including agricultural market intelligence, market linkages, and agribusiness development services. This network serves over 30,000 small-scale farmers with market information, agro-input supply, and output marketing services.

The enterprise joined the Women in Agriculture Impact Investment (WAII) Facility in 2022 when the call for applications was rolled out. It is among the 16 Agri-SMEs that were selected for the first investment advisory cycle. Finding XY established the Women in Agriculture Impact Investment (WAII) Facility to accelerate early growth stage of SMEs investment using a blend of instruments and a gender lens approach through bridge financing cover and loan-discount approach using Covid relief investment support.

WAII is made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Feed the Future Uganda Inclusive Agricultural Markets Activity and is implemented by Finding XY.
